take me to the river

at the river this weekend for guertin family work weekend [for the boys at least]...us girls & wilson are just going to be hanging out. wilson is excited to play with his cousin percy that is for sure! maybe he'll hang out with me in the hammock chair...percy girl though weighed in at just under 80 pounds at the vet last week so the two of us may exceed the weight limit!

wilson's latest update!

wilson is doing a great job being a cute puppy! that is in fact what he does best. he has been a master in his puppy classes and can now sit, lay down, wait, shake, and come here.  he steals our hearts daily and we love him! on feb 17th our neighbors are getting one of wilson's 1/2 brothers or sisters! we are pumped for some more puppy love!

deb-girl the sewing whiz!

i have enjoyed having handy parents throughout my life.  my father is an amazing handyman and my mother the best seamstress i know.  who would have ever guessed that pottery barn would sell you window treatments with certain side specifications that weren't actually to those measurements?! 

deb to the rescue! our dining room has the proper length and width window treatments! wahoo! the best part was these were purchased on sunday and then up and the proper width by monday afternoon! joe & carrie hung the rods while i was "site supervisor" saying "little to the left," "down a hair" and other non productive comments....thanks mom for being amazing and yet again blowing me away! 


By the way these curtains, though I wouldn't recommend if you didnt either have someone who was able to alter the length or if length didn't matter were the Casual Cotton Drape from Pottery Barn 50" x 96" was just right for our house with the alterations mom did!
