protein smoothies

here is my go-to breakfast in a nutshell...the more protein to jump start my day, the happier I become!
AM Protein Smoothie
in a blender mix until really really smooth...

  • 2 heaping tablespoons of 0% fage greek yogurt
  • 1 handful of washed spinach
  • 1 cup of mixed berries (fresh works but are $$$...try frozen--I put one cup in the microwave for 30 seconds before hand to defrost/make my blender happier)
  • splash of milk
  • 1 heaping scoop of vanilla whey protein isolate (you get this at whole foods or other health establishments...see below for what the bottle looks like)


blend...i promise you do not taste the whey or the spinach & what a great way to get a fat free, protein filled boost in the morning!
