On Dec 9th Wilson will arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and be ours forever! Our first puppy! He is a Soft Coat Wheaten Terrier and cute as can be. Below is him as a puppy (this is actually him not just any SCWT) but he will also be white when he grows up and gets his hair cut...his puppy coat is brown with a black muzzle. He is a non-shedding breed like his poodle cousin Ted Hastings which is great for us sensitive to puppy dander. He will be 12 weeks old when we get him and they are keeping him for an extra two weeks since we have Lauren and Kent's wedding in Charleston!!!
|Wilson Davis...hehe so cute!|
This is a pic of our neighbors, Lucy also a SCWT which is what they look like when they're older (about a year old) and have a hair cut since their undercoat is white. You can get a good feel for what size he will be. The males of this breed are more fun loving and loyal, laid back, and people pleasers according to the breeders--even those with girls and boys "in stock". They are not aggressive like some larger dog breeds and if you get them neutered on time, they have no "boy" issues!
They are no more than 50 pounds and the boys are approximately 45 pounds. Wilson will not be cut like a normal Wheaten Terrier so if you google them and they look like little old men don't be alarmed haha. He's already so excited for his first car trips back to the airport to bring his Aunt Ann to her flight and back that same weekend.

So now my nights consist of reading dog books and trying to decide what color leash he needs (Joe's happy there is no pink allowed with boys).
yay for wilson!!!!
